Data deletion

Delete your account in the app

Sign in and open Settings → Your data → Delete account. Confirm with your password, or sign in again with Facebook, Google or Apple. If your account has no password, we send a confirmation link to your email.

Your account is then deleted after 7 days. Until then you can sign in and cancel the deletion at any time. Tip: download a copy of your data first (Settings → Your data → Export your data).

Ask us by email

Can't sign in anymore? Email hello@kolekta.cards from the address of your Kolekta account and ask us to delete it. We confirm that the request is really yours and delete the account within 30 days — usually within a few days.

What gets deleted

Your profile, collection, binders, collections, wishlists, offers and their photos, notifications, friends, saved addresses, payment methods, meetup spots and data exports.

Sign-in data from Facebook, Google, Apple or Discord is deleted too: the link to that account (its account ID) and any tokens we received. We never stored your posts, photos or friends list. You can also remove Kolekta in your Facebook settings under "Apps and websites" (or in your Google account under third-party access); that stops future sign-ins but doesn't delete your Kolekta account.

What stays: ratings you gave other traders stay visible without your name, and deals you made stay in your trade partners' history, shown as "Deleted user". Backups are overwritten within 8 weeks.
