Who we are

Kolekta is run by AppMinds.dev Inc. (https://appminds.dev). We decide what happens with the data described here, so we're the ones responsible for it. Questions? Write to hello@kolekta.cards.

What we collect

Your account: name, email, username and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or Discord, we also get your account ID and the public profile details they share with us.

Your collection: the cards and sealed products you add, what you paid, your binders, collections and wishlists.

Your trading: offers, the photos you upload, your region, province or city, the contact options you choose to show, deals and ratings.

Technical stuff: session cookies, your IP address and browser info (to keep accounts safe and spot fraud), and anonymous error reports. Usage analytics only if you say yes.

Why we use it

To run Kolekta for you, to keep the platform safe from scams and abuse, and to send emails you need, like verification and password resets. Usage analytics only happen if you agree.

To trade, you link a Facebook account. That way every trader is a real person. We only store the link to your account — not your posts, photos or friends list.

Who can see what

Everyone can see your public profile, your active offers and your ratings. Your contact options are only shown to people who are signed in. Binders, collections and wishlists are private unless you share them with friends or make them public.

A few companies help us run Kolekta and handle data for us: our hosting provider (Contabo, Singapore), our email provider, and PostHog for error reports (and analytics, if you agree). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data as long as you have an account. Photos of sold items are deleted 7 days after the sale, or once a related report is closed. Backups are kept for up to 8 weeks.

If you delete your account, we delete your personal data. Ratings you gave stay, but without your name, so other traders still see an honest history.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act you can see, fix, download and delete your data, object to how we use it, and take back your consent at any time. Most of this works right in your settings, or just email us. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
